Free Tire Disposal

The Tire Amnesty program is returning to Daviess County this spring!
Daviess County Fiscal Court will partner with the Division of Waste Management in the Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet. The free tire disposal event is scheduled for May 23 – May 25 at the State Highway Garage.
- Thursday, May 23 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Friday, May 24 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Saturday, May 25 8 a.m. to Noon
Tires will be accepted on or off the rim (Truck, Light Truck, Passenger Car, Implement, Lawn Tractor, Bicycle, Motorcycle, Golf Cart, etc.). Excluded from the list is foam-filled, calcium-filled, or solid tires, rubber tracks, and off-road construction tires (OTR).
Please note that tire retailers, scrap/salvage yards and recycling businesses are expressly prohibited from participating in Tire Amnesty Days.
