The Daviess County Fire Department hosted Week 5 of the Citizens Academy for the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
Fire Chief Jeremy Smith said the presentation covered the Advanced Life Support program, fire investigations, Project Lifesaver, high angle rope rescue, and multiple pieces of equipment.
The Citizens Academy will visit other sites, such as the Daviess County Detention Center, to demonstrate how county agencies work together to better serve the people of Daviess County.
