The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office congratulates the first graduates of its Citizen Academy class.
The eight-week program concluded with a ceremony at WKU-Owensboro on Tuesday, June 4.
Sheriff Brad Youngman says participants received an in-depth look at the department from traffic stop and K9 demonstrations to facility tours of the jail, airport fire station, and the gun range utilized by deputies for training.
The sheriff’s office intends to offer this class again in the future.
