A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to block the entrance to Alvey Park Drive West in Owensboro for just over two weeks, beginning on December 1.
The closure will allow for the existing roadway to be aligned with new and upcoming construction, including new storm drains, guttering and curbs.
This work is part of the ongoing KY-54 widening project. Alvey Park Drive West will reopen on December 15.
