The Criminal Division is located in the Robert M. Kirtley Judicial Annex, Owensboro, KY. The annex is behind the Morton J. Holbrook Center, 100 East 2nd Street, Owensboro, KY.
The Criminal Division is responsible for the prosecution of all adult criminal matters and the prosecution of all juvenile matters handled in District Court. This office handles the following:
- Accepts Misdemeanor Restitution
- Prepares Restitution Orders
- Criminal Complaint Forms (must have other party’s name and address before completing form)
- Guardianship/Medical Warrants
- Drive Safe Program
