Daviess County Fiscal Court will sponsor a Tox Away Day on Saturday, September 28.
It’s an effort to divert household hazardous waste from the Landfill. Daviess County residents should bring items to the Operations Center on Highway 81 for free disposal. The collection will run from 8 a.m. to Noon.
Accepted items include: batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, lawn chemicals, used motor oil, acids, household cleaning products, freon cylinders, and smoke detectors. Click here for complete list.
