Virtual Tour: Owensboro Museum of Fine Art

The Owensboro Museum of Fine Art is Kentucky’s second largest art museum with a wealth of resources for children and adults.

The museum’s permanent collection contains more than 4,000 objects of world art dating from the 15th-century to the present.

Among its treasures are those by Pablo Picasso; English portraitist Sir Thomas Lawrence; American painters Martin Johnson Heade, Charles Willson Peale and Kentucky’s Frank Duveneck.

The museum’s complex consists of three wings, two of which are on the National Register of Historic Places.
